Privacy Policy

PunchPal is an AI-powered boxing coach iOS app operated by Stratega Mobile. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

• Anonymous user identifier — we use Supabase Anonymous Auth on first launch. No email or personal info required to use the app.
• Workout activity data — workouts completed, durations, difficulty ratings, streak counts.
• Device-level data — iOS version, device type, anonymized advertising identifier (used only for non-personalized ads).
• Email address — only if you optionally create an account from the Profile screen to back up your progress.

• To generate personalized workouts via the Anthropic Claude API.
• To track your streak and progress.
• To show non-personalized ads via Google AdMob.
• To improve the app.

PunchPal generates workouts using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Boxing combinations are designed by an AI system prompted with boxing fundamentals, but they should not be treated as personalized coaching from a licensed instructor. Always train within your physical limits.

PunchPal is a fitness training tool. Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have any medical condition or have not exercised recently. Stop exercising immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. PunchPal is not a substitute for medical or professional fitness advice. You assume all risk associated with use of this app.

We use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads inside the app. We serve non-personalized ads only — we do not request App Tracking Transparency permission and we do not track users across other apps or websites. AdMob may collect device-level data per Google's privacy policy. We do not show personalized ads, behavioral ads, or remarketing. No third-party ad networks beyond Google AdMob.

Data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure (AWS, US region). We retain workout history for as long as your account exists. Anonymous accounts are retained for 18 months of inactivity before automatic deletion.

• Access your data — request via support email.
• Export your data — request via support email; we'll send a JSON dump within 30 days.
• Delete your account and data — available in-app via Profile > Delete Account, or request via support email.
• Opt out of ads — not currently possible; the app is funded by ads. A paid no-ads tier may be offered in the future.

PunchPal is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Boxing training carries physical risk and parental supervision is recommended for users under 18.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (providing the service) and consent (where applicable).

California residents have additional rights including the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
